I asked a few friends (with my mom’s group and photography board) with a little help, to do a little “encouragement project” for a seriously kickarse mom and her family.
Anissa Mayhew.
Her blog is here:
http://www.hope4peyton.org/
and she is a part of the hilarious group, Aiming Low http://aiminglow.com
and the page that explains who they are, is here:
http://www.hope4peyton.org/about/who-we-are/
Anissa recently had a very serious stroke. Twice. (and evidently once before in 2005)
The idea is simple:
Her amazing husband is asking for help.
He cannot encourage her alone, and this is going to be one LONG marathon and fight.
Uphill. Both ways. Barefoot.
FIFTY TWO families joined in.
52.
Thank you to all that participated!

Love it!
I had an idea to do something like this (in my case, the thought was a mashup of Tweople/bloggers singing Three Little Birds) but didn’t have a clue how to get it done…

Tracie:
This is the most amazing, beautiful thing. Anissa is so going to kick your arse for making her cry big tears!
Seriously tho – it’s lovely and amazing and incredible. Thank you for sharing it. I hope you understand that I’m passing it along to other people – because it’s a message that everyone should hear, not just Anissa & Peter and those of us following her recovery.
((((hug))))
Thank you.
